Planica to Tamar beneath the Julian Alps

Route note

The Tamar valley draws the eye straight towards the high limestone mountains at its head. This walk follows the valley approach from Planica to Dom v Tamarju, keeping the mountain scenery close without taking a summit route. The hut is the turnaround area rather than the end of a supplied loop, so the walk back adds to the recorded distance.
